Unique Wedding Colours!

It has been I while I blogged! Been mightily busy!!!!!! Am glad to be back! I want to share some of the lovely colour combos I came across in the last few days infact am currently working on a cloth with one of those colours. Nigerian brides are stepping out of the colour box and am so excited! Here are some lovely combos! let me know which one you love best.

THE image MEN I

this is a work day for me! I guess you understand what I mean? I am working on my collection of beaded embroidery jewellery sets and I have a couple of handmade laces to design. Along side all these, I want to talk about the photographers whose works will be featured on this blog. I think I can only take two for today. So, lets meet them.

ADEMOLA OLANIRAN

  Ademola Olaniran holds a B.Sc in Human Physiology from the University of Ilorin. He has engaged in voluntary work with UNICEF, Society for Family and Reproductive Health, Association of Family and Reproductive Health, NYSC PEER education training as a master trainer on issues bordering on HIV/AIDS, Gender and Reproductive Health. He worked in the telecommunications industry before delving into the banking industry. He has been a lover of photography for over a decade and has a rich portfolio to show for it: winner of EXPO ’97 NTA art competition, second best in the painting category ASCAP art competition, his love for art has also helped him win gold in the brass instrument category and silver in the wind instrument category over a decade ago at the ’99 jos inter-college music competition. He was named Michelangelo by his graphic artist father, after the Italian artist Michelangelo Bounart. This has greatly influenced the kind of artist he has become. His dexterity with the three dimensional paint is greatly phenomenal.

Dem – Dem,as we fondly call him is the CEO of triple A photography, Pure Nigerian Breed and  has shot over 100 events in the space of 2 years with Osita Iheme, Jim Iyke, Tomi Salami (Miss Kwara and reigning Miss Select Pro (MBGN)), Yemi Solade and many others on his clients list. Another feather to his cap: His picture got the best still life photograph at the 2011 Nigeria Photography Awards and a nominee for Best portraiture at the same awards.  Demola also had a phototour by the Pure Nigerian Breed to the highest point in Nigeria, taking him to the border between Taraba State and Cameroon.

Ademola strongly believes in the purity and absoluteness of Nigeria and seeks to flaunt it in creative ways.

SOJI ONI

Soji Oni is the CEO/ Creative Director/ Head Photographer at Soji Oni Photography, A professional company that is unique, rich with culture and informed by creativity where vivid design and imaginative photography are built around what you want. Soji is a natural storyteller – unobtrusive, playful, competent, smart and widely observant. He is from Ilesha in Osun State. He holds a B.sc degree in Accounting from the University of Ilorin and a certificate in Photography from the New York Institute of Photography.  Soji Oni has a long list of clients – the Ajadis,Lagos State government, the Omisores, the Asafas, Tesmosol  – who can’t stop calling him. He also shot at the Nigerian Royal Wedding which was showcased on CNN. He was a nominee for an award at the Nigerian Photography Awards.

He is a loyalist, not given to arrogance and receptive to other people’s ideas. He strives for excellence, works hard and smart, and he is a very great team player.

 These guys are my friends from way back and am happy to be doing this about them. I have to go make some money now *winks*.
